Sindy Isabel Castro
CO-FOUNDER
Sindy Isabel Castro is an actress, educator, and theatre artist. She is co-founder of Jugando N Play. A graduate from the MA in Applied Theatre program at CUNY's School of Professional Studies, she is a teaching artist with Arts Connection, New York City Children's Theater, Lincoln Center Theater, and the People's Theatre Project in NYC. Sindy strives to use theatre as a tool for creating multilingual and multicultural spaces where young people are empowered to embrace their home languages and cultures.
Madeline Calandrillo
CO-FOUNDER
Madeline Calandrillo is a New York based arts educator, teaching artists,theatre-maker, and co-founder of Jugando N Play. She has created arts curriculum for various organizations and nonprofits such as New York City Children’s Theater and CO/LAB Theater Group. Madeline is drawn to creating accessible and diverse theatrical experiences for young people and their families. She feels that theater cultivates a community where young audiences can be the experts of their own experiences. Madeline received her Master’s in Applied Theatre from the City University of New York.
